VacPort®
It replaces the dust pan, not the hose.
A VacPort is a small door set low in a cabinet or toe kick. Open the door and the vacuum starts; sweep the sand and crumbs straight in and they travel down the pipe to the power unit’s dust bag. Nothing plugs into it — the hose goes to an inlet valve.
